We are proud of our ongoing partnership with the East Troy Railroad Museum, which began in June 2021 with the organ project. The instrument will be installed in the Depot building and will become DTOS’s next organ project after we complete the Wurlitzer project at the Geneva Theatre.
A New Theatre Organ for East Troy
We want to express our gratitude to longtime member John Cornue for his generous donation of a two-manual Barton console. We also thank Ryan Jonas for providing the many parts that inspired us to build another instrument.
Building the Organ
Our vision is to create a theatre pipe organ with around eight ranks, accompanied by a standard range of percussion instruments.
Looking Ahead
We are excited about this opportunity and look forward to many joint social events and train rides with our friends at the museum!
